This Privacy Policy explains how Seafarer Exam Trainer handles information when you use the application.
1. App purpose
Seafarer Exam Trainer is an educational application for maritime training and examination preparation. The app includes training sessions, mock examinations, a question bank, results, statistics and optional paid access plans.
2. Information stored on your device
The app may store information locally on your device, including training progress, completed sessions, exam and training results, wrong-answer history, settings and preferences, local entitlement state, and question-bank data and images.
3. Google Play Billing
The app uses Google Play Billing for one-time purchases and subscriptions. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. The app receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock features. Payment card details are not collected or stored by the app developer.
4. Advertising
The Free plan may display advertisements using Google AdMob. Ad-Free and Premium plans do not display advertisements.
Google Mobile Ads may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interaction data, diagnostics and other data needed to provide and measure advertising services.
5. Consent and privacy choices
Where required by law, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent for advertising and related data processing. Users may be offered choices regarding personalised advertising, measurement and storage or access of information on a device.
When required, the app provides access to Google's privacy-options form from the Help screen.

7. Data sharing

Seafarer Exam Trainer is intended for maritime students, seafarers and maritime professionals. It is not designed or directed specifically at children.
9. Internet and offline use
Much of the training and examination content can be used offline. Internet access may be required for Google Play Billing, advertising, consent management, purchase restoration and store-related services.
10. Security
Reasonable measures are used to keep the app and locally stored information secure, but no software or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Data deletion
Most study data is stored locally on the device. Uninstalling the app or clearing app storage will normally remove that local data. Google Play purchase records are managed by Google and may remain associated with your Google account.
12. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when app features, legal requirements or third-party services change. The latest version will be published on this page.
